Welcome to our revamped site. We will keep this bio brief, so here are a few details about our company for your edification so you have some kind of idea who we are and what we are all about if you have not dealt with us before..
Generic Systems Australia Pty Ltd was incorporated in 1993. At the time of forming the company, the Director’s thoughts were that there was still a lot of life in the Mainframe market, something that still prevails today. With this in mind we pursued and gained exclusive distribution rights to quality Mainframe products and gained a great percentage of that market. Long ago, the company diversified and is now focussed on Enterprise solutions and the flagship product is now GoAnywhere MFT, a Fortra's Product, for which we are long term distributors. We proudly have distributed that product since day 1 of it’s release around 14 years ago. Enterprise Managed File Transfer and Data Security are now our primary focus and other related products will be added to our portfolio in the near future.
The philosophy of this company has always been to do business in a fair and ethical fashion, with no exceptions, and that is the prime reason that not one cent of revenue has EVER been written back in over 29 years of business or any type of legal action brought against our company. A claim not many Software suppliers could make as I am sure you would agree. In fact, we have at any point in time had as clients the largest mining companies, Telco’s, Multinationals and Government Departments in Australia and New Zealand – that’s around 800 licences in the last 29 years.
We intend to remain a small, united company that provides top quality Enterprise wide products, with local Professional Services, and excellent friendly service and 24/7 Technical Support with each licence sold.
We have no desire to go down the path of larger companies where you can never get access to the person you really need or consistently get the voice mail of people that never get back to you, unless you want to buy something of course!
