FileMarvel - Dataset viewer and editor for OS/390 and z/OS. You can use FileMarvel to look at and maintain any kind of dataset - VSAM, SAM or source, JCL etc in a PDS. Even tape. Some of the things you can do to your datasets using FileMarvel include browsing, editing, changing the layout, copying, sorting / merging, printing and allocating datasets. OVERRIDE - VSAM is critically important to most mainframe installations, yet it is rarely used optimally. One consequence, is that jobs that access VSAM files almost always run longer than necessary. OverRide is a product which is designed to significantly increase the performance of VSAM in EVERY installation. It does this in a way which is transparent to the programs involved, does not alter any VSAM files and does not make any mods to VSAM itself. VSHARE - VSHARE allows multiple programs to update the same VSAM file simultaneously. To accomplish this, VSHARE intercepts batch VSAM requests and ship the requests to a CICS region. CICS then updates the file on behalf of the batch jobs. By giving the batch jobs the ability to update files within CICS, VSHARE makes CICS the VSAM data manager.
